Dr. Core’s Presentation on Lower Eyelid Mini Blepharoplasty Honored in San Diego

As Dr. Core’s techniques for eyelid rejuvenation have progressed over the years, he has developed techniques for natural looking periorbital rejuvenation, which keeps people looking normal, yet youthful and refreshed. His latest innovation of lower eyelid mini blepharoplasty, which consists of using only a tiny access incision beside the lower eyelid and without interrupting any muscles around the eye, received the award for the best scientific presentation at the annual meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgery this past fall

Dr. Core has now been invited to present this at the New York Medical Society in the spring of 2014 along with his 16-year experience and rejuvenation of the eyes. Upper eyelid rejuvenation can be performed under local anesthesia in the office or it can be performed in association with other procedures that are being performed under general anesthesia at the hospital. The historical problems with lower eyelid procedures, which cause retraction of the lower lid and an odd appearance have thus far been avoided with the new techniques of mini blepharoplasty developed by Dr. Core.
